2015 NEPAL RELIEF

In response to the devastation in Nepal from the 7.8 magnitude earthquake on 24 April and 12 May 2015, Fashion Girls For Humanity returned to benefit affected communities with an on-line auction hosted by CHARITY BUZZ and supported by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Auction items included special experiences and one-of-a-kind items such as; Grab 19 Friends & Go Head to Head in a America's Cup Yacht Race, Captained by Ex-America's Cup Team Members; Attend the 2015 American Music Awards with 3 Night Hotel Stay in Los Angeles: VIP Glastonbury Festival Experience for 2 on June 24-June 28; Dinner for 2 at Maialino and Tour of Kitchen with Chef; 2 tickets to the Oscar de la Renta show and meet designer Peter Copping; 2 front-row tickets to the Marc Jacobs show; have been donated. The founders of Fashion Girls for Humanity again called on their friends and network to participate and bring awareness to the importance of providing aid to people and countries in great need due to the aftermath of global disasters.

2015 NEPAL RELIEF RESULTS       $163,149

I wanted to thank you for participating in the Nepal Fashion Girls For Humanity Charitybuzz auction. It is truly admirable that you took the time and effort to make this all happen.

We raised $163,149 that will be donated to Waves for Water which has been providing ground support and relief work, and fashion designer Prabal Gurung's charity Shikshya Foundation for Nepal relief. Your generous donation and participation truly made a difference.
